Dikembe Mutombo suffered a knee injury last night that has put him out for the rets of the Houston Rockets post season. He called it a career in the locker room afterwards.
"I've had a wonderful 18 years of staying injury-free, so I just want to go out with my head up, no regrets," he said.
He leaves the NBA second all time in blocked shots and is remembered for helping the Denver Nuggets pulling the first #8 seed upset in the first round of the NBA playoffs when they knocked off the #1 seeded Seattle Sonics.
