Comcast Subscribers Got Something Extra With The Super Bowl

Porn clip interrupts Super Bowl broadcast
BY OWEN MORITZ
All Arizona Cardinal fans cheered when Larry Fitzgerald scored a dramatic Super Bowl touchdown -- but some jeered when they got a 10-second porn clip.
The switchboard at Tucson's KVOA-TV also lit up with angry calls.
"We were like in shock," said Cardinal fan Alice Soto, 53, who was watching the game with her 11-year-old daughter and 80-year-old mother.
She told the Tucson Citizen the clip was of a man and woman on a sofa. The man unzipped his pants, revealing his genitals.
"I couldn't believe it," said Joel Hilander of Tucson. "My children were watching."
KVOA released a statement saying the only viewers who got the unwanted clip were Comcast subscribers. The station apologized.
"KVOA will continue to investigate what happened to our clean signal and make sure our viewers get answers," general manager Gary Nielsen.
