Food distribution begins in Zabul, Afghanistan

QALAT (PAN): The work for food program began in Qalat city, provincial capital of southern Zabul province for staff of National Solidarity Program on Thursday.
Muhammad Mansoor, acting head of Rural Rehabilitations and Development department told Pajhwok Afghan News that 150 reconstruction projects have been completed in Qalat city.
He said under work for food projects the workers will receive food stuff for work.
He said that the department received 500 tons food stuff from WFP.
Mansoor said that the food stuff included wheat, ghee and beans and the distribution started on Thursday.
Mula Ahmadzaid Khateri, a WFP official told Pajhwok Afghan News that officials of Zabul province handed over the list of 150 projects which were completed.
He said the aid has been transferred and the distribution has begun.
