UPDATE:
Jacksonville police have now released the name of the suspect involved in a homicide in the Reserve Apartment Complex this afternoon. Cody Richardson, age 22 year was arrested today in the death of his wife Jessy Richardson who is also 22. At this time, Jacksonville Police have charged Richardson with an open count in murder. It is believed that Cody Richardson is a U.S. Marine.
Jacksonville police were called to the apartment complex this afternoon.
A murder in Jacksonville, NC occurred at the Reserve Apartment complex off of McDaniel Drive today. Police are not releasing many details, but they have confirmed that they do have a suspect in custody. They are not releasing names until the victim's family is notified.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Services from Camp Lejeune is assisting the Jacksonville Police with this investigation.
