Dear Santa...

You’ve always been there for me; like when I was eight and you gave me my first new bike; my father rolled it in before he left for time-and-a-half. And while you gave me all of those wool sweaters, which clawed at my sensitive skin, you also gave me Freaky Freezies, Colorforms, GI Joe and Nicolai Volkoff and the Iran Sheik. Last year I asked for expanded government and system-wide subsidizaton, and while I was being facetious, you once again answered the call.

This year, I ask for something different. This year I ask for peace of mind.

You see Santa, I have come to the conclusion that I can no longer sit still; that I no longer feel comfortable in the warm quiet of an everyday moment. I sit down in front of the fireplace with....
