My Recipe for a Healthy Pancake, Sausage Breakfast

"Little Sister's Sweet, Whole Wheat Pancake Mix."

There's nothing like a good morning meal than pancakes, Healthy Ones sausage patties and a bowl of Cantaloupe. Not only is tasty, but it's healthy if you use the right ingredients. Add a cup of Orange Juice and your healthy pancake breakfast is complete.

I make my own pancake mix versus buying the healthy kind and I have more for longer and spend much less money. I'm paying for the name on the package. Please! I buy my own

I call it "Little Sister's Whole Wheat, Sweet Pancake Mix."

My recipe consists of 3 cups of white flour, 1 1/2 cup of dry milk, 1/3 cup of sugar, 2 cups whole wheat flour, and 1/8 Cup baking powder. Later, I add nutmeg or cinnamon for a little kick.

I don't use regular sugar in my mix either. I use Xylitol a five-carbon sugar, which is simply a healthy sugar substitute that has a 60 sucrose count and will not raise your blood sugar or insulin levels.

Xylitol tastes exactly like sugar except it doesn't have all the unhealthy side effects of regular sugar. Try it. Click here to order yours.

I prefer to use Healthy Ones Sausage patties because they're made from lean turkey and pork and seasoned just right with that maple flavor. I'm only ingesting 60 calories, 2 grams of Carbs and 1.5 grams of fat (total). You can substitute this brand for a brand that serves simple Turkey sausage patties.
