Its possible that Gov. Jindal who is of Indian descent didn't hear about the Sikh temple shootings two days ago, but its also highly unlikely. Gov. Jindal and others like him, Gov. Nikki Haley, and Rep. Allen West seemed to be ashamed of claiming their ethnicity for fear of backlash and losing their base.
Is the Governor so frightened to speak out against the Wisconsin shooting at the Sikh temple, that he is willing to ignore his ethnic connection to Sikhs?
Let's hope that all hate crimes are spoken out against by all politicians from the right and left.
Furthermore, when there's a cultural connection no politician should be in fear to speak out against hate.
