En Vogue members Cindy Braggs and Terry Ellis have been awarded rights to the name En Vogue. The duo battled former member Maxine Jones since at least 2012 over use of the name, but Braggs and Ellis will now own En Vogue Enterprises, LLC, and retain rights to the name of the group they founded in 1989.According to a press release, former member Jones will be able to use the name "only in non-derogatory biographical information primarily of a personal nature, and professionally as 'formerly of En Vogue,' or words to that effect." The girl group was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards in the 1990s, and their first three albums went platinum, including 1992's triple-platinum Funky Divas.
Looks like this isn't going to be any reunion anytimes soon.
