Social Media Posts Help Officials Nab Harlem Gang Bangers

Talk about putting your foot in your mouth.

New York City gang banger homies allegedly posted photos of themselves holding guns and filled their time lines with misspelled slang and gun lingo on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

A member of the Air it Out Gang posted "I'm 2 Glocks strapped, rolling down 112th Madison, 116 this is the New Iraq." The gang bangers were all from Harlem.

Another member boasted during a taped telephone conversation from jail that he went somewhere and "Played the flute twice."

This thug was not into any music programs and probably didn't know what an actual flute looked like. His statement was code for having fired two shots. Police did not release information on any shootings the perp may have been involved in.

Sources say the accused have spent the day being arraigned before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Larry Stephen. In all, police apprehended approximately 60 gang members.
