Chrisette Michele was never bad but she sure is better. Moving from Def Jam to Motown, the
songstress surely didn’t disappoint with her fourth studio album “Better”. The
opening song sets the stage for the album “Be in Love, Yeah I’m going to do it
again,” making listeners fall in love with her again. Better is a collection of
love songs for those in love, looking for love, or falling in love with
themselves or another. It’s an optimistic album that reflects Michele’s positivity
and optimism taking a three-year break from the industry for personal
development. The soulful and melodic voice of Ms. Chrisette hypnotizes
listeners as they go through the journey of Better.
Michele linked up with familiar artist on this album; she
brought Wale back to the studio to create a lyrically amazing track, as well as
featured 2 Chainz, Bilal and Nello Luchi.
