The past few weeks of VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, we
have witnessed Rasheeda and Kirk Frost’s marriage go from bad to worst. Although we
only see what is played on television, we can clearly see Kirk has no respect
for Rasheeda, his children, or the value of marriage.
Rasheeda and Kirk’s relationship is a classic example of why
you can’t mix business with pleasure.
Benzino is correct in the first scene of last night’s episode;
Kirk is pointing missiles and starting war with Rasheeda. The war is not because he is taking her
name off their bank account but because he is being down right disrespectful on
national television.
Viewers have been getting hints that Kirk has been cheating
and witnessed it in the last scene of last night’s episode. The final scene showed
Kirk kissing another woman in the mouth, followed by two women joining him in a
room, closing the door afterward. If that is not disrespect, I don’t know what
is.
We have also seen him as a non-supporting husband
insinuating that Rasheeda should get an abortion when she told him about her
pregnancy, but Kirk totally crossed the line when he told Rasheeda they would
be getting a paternity test.
During this season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Rasheeda and
Kirk have been in constant conflict on how Rasheeda will move forward with her
music career. Rasheeda decided to move forward last week and consult with Debra
Antney, CEO of Mizay Entertainment, to shoot a video to her single “Hit it From
the Back.” Not only did she shoot the video, she shot it four months pregnant
after being advised by both Kirk and Antney that it was a bad idea.
Sunday night at the BET Awards, Rasheeda and Kirk showed up
together on the red carpet and told HipHollywood.com their marriage is “It’s
a work in progress. We’re still working on it.”
But props go to out to Rasheeda for keeping her poker face
on through it all.
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta airs Monday nights 8 p.m. EST on
VH1.
