There's nothing like horrible rumors! This one to me is just bad! Apparently, there have been rumors going around the internet stating that Frankie, Keyshia Cole's mom, has passed away due to a car accident. Me, personally, I haven't heard the rumor but everybody else has....so let me just clear the air by saying the rumor is ABSOLUTELY FALSE!! It ain't true folks!!! Here's the article according to All Hip Hop.com:
"Keyshia Cole’s mother is still alive, despite the negative assertions of internet rumors that have reported her sudden demise. The gossip of mother, Frankie Lons’ death has prompted a statement from Cole’s management company, Imani Entertainment.
“Imani Entertainment has received a huge amount of inquiries in regards to the rumor about Keyshia Cole's biological mom, Frankie Lons, having recently passed in an automobile accident,” the company said in a statement. “The rumor has absolutely no truth to it -- Frankie has not been in any accident of any kind and is doing well at home in Atlanta.” Cole and company were gracious to those worried for Lons’ welfare.
“We want to thank all of Frankie's fans for their concern.” Lons is a co-star on Cole’s highly-touted BET reality show, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.” She has been a controversial, but adored figure on the show."
Now, can we all settle down and rest assured that Frankie is ok and has not been in any kind of accident! These internet rumors can be brutal but that's why I'm here to clear up all the gossip!!
