NFL Player to be charged with manslaughter
Donte Stallworth, another player gone wrong
By:Jarred Powell
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth will be charged with vehicular DUI manslaughter after killing a pedestrian in a car crash. Two people with knowledge of the case said on condition of anonymity the charges will be filed Wednesday against the 28-year-old Stallworth in the March 14 accident that killed 59-year-old Mario Reyes. They requested anonymity because the charges haven’t been announced. The charge carries a possible 15-year prison sentence. This is another example of professional athletes gone wrong. This is however the worse since Rae Carruth hired people to kill his girlfriend and they succeeded. He received 19 years for conspiracy to commit murder. Just because you make a lot of money doesn't put you above the law and the sad thing is these are young black men that are doing this. They get alot of money, get alot of superficial things, and act a fool. When are they going to wake up and see themselves for how they're perceived. Hopefully sooner than later.
