If your New Years Eve travel plans lead you to the New Jersey Turnpike or the Garden State Parkway you"ll be able to get free coffee, tea and milk at rest stops off of the turnpike or parkway from 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve to 7 a.m. on New Year's Day.
Officials said their goal is to keep drivers safe and help them fight fatigue. Toll workers will distribute cards to travelers reminding them not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
