Georgia Police have now found the body of Jennifer Budrawich's husband, Paul. He was found approximately 500 yards from where his wife's body was found in the Amicalola River, Dawson County, Georgia.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations says both victims were shot to death.

The Budrawichs, described by family members as "vigilant" in visiting their three sons, disappeared Friday en-route to their regularly scheduled family visit to Dawsonville, Georgia. The missing couple's car was discovered abandoned Saturday night on Highway 53 close to an IGA grocery store near the Pickens County line.

A search of the abandoned vehicle led investigators to the Amicalola River.

"We believe that both were killed at the same location and dumped into the river. Being that we've had a lot of rain, the swift water, they had floated down the river," said Dawson County Sheriff's Lt. Tony Wooten.

Surveillance footage led to the arrest of 40-year-old Jesse James Kilgore. Further investigation by the GBI led to the arrest of Kilgore's nephew, 27-year-old Benjamin Kelly Mullinax. Both have been charged with two counts of murder and are currently being held in jail. An additional charge of tampering with evidence was added to Mullinax’s murder charge.

Authorities began their investigation after receiving a chilling 911 call from Jennifer Budrawich. Three voices, one belonging to Jennifer, the others to whom police now believe were Kilgore and Mullinax, can be heard. Police transcripts indicate that Jennifer can be heard asking, “Why are you shooting at us," "Please don’t do this" and "Why did you bring me to the river?" Moments later, a man's voice threatens, "I’m going to kill both of you!"

Ironically, Kilgore is Jennifer Budrawich's step-father and reportedly the father of one of her children. An autopsy on Jennifer's body is scheduled to be conducted today. There has been no word on when Paul's autopsy will be conducted. The couple leave behind three beautiful children to mourn their passing.
