The winner of the $211.7 million Powerball jackpot has come forward to claim her prize.
Sandra McNeil of Morristown purchased her ticket in time for the March 13 drawing at Gene's Market and Deli on Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains. McNeil, the lone winner of the multi-million dollar ticket, has been a member of the Morris School District Board of Education for four years.
She chose the cash option when she purchased her winning ticket and stands to collect $101.6 million when it's all said and done. New Jersey Lottery officials say McNeil asked that no press conference or check presentation be held.
