Singers and Actors in their 60s, 70s and Still Sexy

Check out these actors and singers age 60 and older and still looking and doing good.

Samuel L. Jackson, 61, is a Morehouse man and a top box office seller. Some of his notable films have been Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Black Snake Moan and Snakes on a Plane. Jackson has been married to wife Latanya Richardson since 1980 and has one daughter, Zoe.


Singer Stevie Wonder (born Stevland Hardaway Judkins, name later changed to Stevland Hardaway Morris), is 60 and still going strong. The multi-instrumentalist and musical genius signed with Motown Records at the age of 11 and still records for them to this day. Wonder has been married to fashion designer Kai Milla Morris since 2001 and has seven children from his two marriages and several relationships.

His daughter, Aisha Morris, was the inspiration for his hit single "Isn't She Lovely." The singer's youngest son, Mandla Kadjay Carl Stevland Morris, was born May 13, 2005, on Wonder's 55th birthday.

Actor Morgan Freeman (born Morgan Porterfield Freeman, Jr.) is an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner. He has appeared in such films as Driving Miss Daisy, Lean on Me, High Crimes, Glory, Amistad, Shawshank Redemption, Deep Impact, Outbreak and Invictus.

Noted for his reserved demeanor and authoritative speaking voice, Freeman lives in Charleston, Mississippi, and New York City. The father of four officially opened his second blues club, "Ground Zero" in Memphis, Tennessee on April 2008.


John Amos Jr, 70, is a native of Newark, New Jersey and an NAACP Image Award recipient. He's starred in such films as Die Hard 2, Lock Up, Roots, Coming to America and Vanishing Point. Amos, well known for his role on the 70s television show Good Times, is a veteran of the 50th Armored Division of the New Jersey National Guard and Honorary Master Chief of the U.S. Coast Guard. He has two children and two grandchildren.

  1. I appreciate your information regarding all our Blacks who contributed so much to all of us just being who they were. Being old school, I appre-ciated seeing them singing, acting, dancing,those who were athletes, or in politics, they gave us hope and our hope and dreams have collectively changed the face of America.
