Two Manhattan Men Arrested in NJ on Cocaine Charge

Maureen Parenta, Communications Director at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office issued a press release last week announcing the arrest of two men after members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force took the men into custody on drug possession charges.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said Angel De Jesus Rosario Brito, 21, and Angel Nicolas Rosario Urena, 46 both of Nicholas Avenue, New York City were both arrested on Cocaine charges after officers observed the two exiting a bus at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus and stopping them. After a search, the officers found approximately 250 grams of what they believed to be Cocaine.

Both men were transported to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for processing and later charged with with one count (first degree) each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (more than five ounces). Judge Louis Dinice set bail for the men at $100,000.00 and they were placed in the Bergen County Jail Annex in lieu of bail. Brito and Urena, who is married, have both been arraigned and are now awaiting trial.
