On Tuesday evening, Tashera Simmons who is also known for being married to rapper, DMX, held a fundraiser for her new organization called "Women Of Strength". The "Women Of Strength" foundation is an organization that provides support and resources to women who have been affected by drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse and other issues. All proceeds from the red carpet event were donated to "Safe Horizons" which is another organization that helps families in crisis because of violence and abuse. I got a chance to film Tashera talking about what made her start this foundation and what the word "strength" means to her. I used celebrity hostess, Amelia Moore from "Daily Dose TV" to conduct the interview for me and she did a great job!! Check out how the interview went below:
