Trae Tha Truth sending Angels to the community

The injury that Trae Tha Truth sustained last evening in the form of a gun shot wound at Scores Night Club in Houston, TX, does not nearly compare to the wound he feels in his heart for the lives that were lost. Trae Tha Truth is a pillar in the community as a humanitarian and has been acknowledged by the city of Houston for his philanthropic efforts. This shooting is nothing more than an extremely unfortunate incident in which Trae also fell victim to a random act of violence; the same act that Trae tirelessly attempts to prevent and protect Houston citizens through his 501(c)3 non profit organization, Angel By Nature.
On the day of the occurrence, Trae attended meetings concerning his upcoming event, Trae Day. Trae’s concentration is always on helping Houston’s youth by providing them with the necessities of life in order to help mold them into productive and responsible individuals. Trae’s most recent outing was with the teens of No More Victims, Inc.; as he sponsored an event to congratulate the teens for graduating and making strides towards a positive future.
Trae Day 2012 (celebrated annually on July 22nd) is planned to be the largest yet. This year’s focus is to involve corporate sponsors in order to help provide more information, resources, and tangible goods for all youth in attendance. The event goal is to provide free school supplies, health and nutrition information, abstinence and sexual disease prevention, free HIV testing and more. Trae concludes the event with a free concert including additional mainstream, national music artist with the same sentiment of helping others.
Trae’s focus will remain the same, along with the additional members of the Angel By Nature family, as he recovers at home with his immediate family and friends. Trae’s deepest regret throughout this devastating ordeal, is the possible negative affects this may have on the opportunity to touch the lives of so many during the Trae Day festivities. Hopefully, the city of Houston will continue to support Trae’s efforts to help save the lives of many as he utilizes his already established music platform. “My music is how I build an audience. My audience is who will spread my message across the world. Trae Day is a combination of my audience and the lives that I help to change. I will continue to reach all that I can. I will remain true.” states Trae.
Trae is completely appalled by the shooting occurrence and it is not in anyway related to anything to which he is affiliated.
