Remember the Kenya doll? She first emerged on the toy scene in the 80s and she's soon to hit retail stores again! She's the African-American teenage girl with a wonderful sense of humor and has a crush on knowledge. In fact she is a wiz in most things academic. She loves music and is rarely seen without her trusty guitar! In fact, Kenya teamed up with her new friends, TJ, Denice and Dwayne to form The Rock Star Madness Band! With that being said, we're kicking off the launch with a new song and music video called "Proud!"
About "PROUD" (Music Video)
Just in time after young Gabby's Olympic win, we want young African-American girls to feel "Proud." The song features lead vocals from, Shanica Knowles, who's best known for her character Amber Addison on Hannah Montana. Shanica plays the role of Kenya, which is a perfect fit because she's also a determined young lady with a love for music. So get ready to rock out with her and The Rock Star Madness Band (band members played by Jonathan McDaniels, Ryan McDaniel, and Kia)!
