Upon its premiere in early February, the "Bad Girls" video became a global smash that went viral instantaneously. Celebrities such as Kanye West, Rihanna, Missy Elliot, and Tyler the Creator tweeted out their praises for the video's innovative visuals and empowering message.

We spent some time listening to their EP in our offices, and we have to say it’s amazing to say the least! We’re really into “James” from their “From The Den” EP!

Copperfox is Rory Mohon and Lisa Garcia of Portland, Oregon. Together they blend delicately crafted melodies, soft vocals and thoughtful chord structures. The end result is a moody mix of sweetly seductive sounds and stories.

Evening Standard art critic Brian Sewell (born 15 July 1931) is widely known not only for his art criticism but also for his headline-grabbing outspoken views. In recent years, he has courted controversy as he disparages the work of much-revered modern artists such as Damien Hirst, Banksy and David Hockney, and has frequently insulted the general public for their views on art.

Born the illegitimate son of the composer Peter Warlock, who died seven months before he was born, Sewell grew up in Kensington, London. After graduating from Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London where he was tutored by Anthony Blunt, who became a close friend, he worked at Christie's auction house, specialising in Old Master paintings and drawings. In 1984, he became art critic for the Evening Standard and has won numerous awards for his journalism. Although he appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the early 1990s, it was not until the late 1990s that he became a household figure through his television appearances on programmes such as Have I Got News For You? and Brian Sewell's Grand Tour.

In this series of breathtakingly honest recordings, Sewell recounts memories from his early years, including his family life, sexuality and his struggle to fit in at school: 'One of the things I learned very quickly was not to show off, as they put it. It wasn't showing off, that's the point, it was just things to me that seemed perfectly
natural, and I wouldn't shut up about... Yes, I was bullied quite a lot...I didn't know how to fight back.'

He also remembers his first introduction to galleries and museums, which led to his all-consuming lifelong fascination with art: 'I know scientists will say this isn't possible, but I do not remember a time when I was not interested in looking at pictures. We would go to the National Gallery and my mother... she would say, I want you to go into that room and find me a picture that you really like... and you come and find me... and tell me why you like it.'

Sewell believes everyone has the ability to be an art critic: 'You go to the National Gallery, for example. You don't look at every picture, you look at the picture that in some way communicates with you, and you spend a little time... You ask yourself what is the subject?... What is the story?... Slowly, you will get an idea not only of how different painters paint, but how French painting is different from Italian... It's a repeat experience... I am constantly surprised at how much I still learn.'

60 - years on the Throne

Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of the thousands of people who stood along the river Thames as they watched the opening ceremony of: The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and her family took to the Thames river as they led a thousand  riverboats in their royal barge to celebrate her 60 - years in reign. It has been reported that more than ten thousand street parties will take place here in the UK, and other commonwealth countries to help the Queen celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.

Tomorrow is day two of the extended Bank Holiday festivities, and a concert for the Queen will take place at Buckingham palace. Some of the music's biggest names will perform for this royal occasion, Stevie Wonder. Sir Elton John, Will I Am; Sir Paul McCartney and Jesse J are just a few who will perform for the royal family. For those unlucky folks who tried desperately to get tickets, don't worry - the concert will broadcast live at 7:30 on  BBC One in Hyde Park.

Tuesday's closing ceremony will include, a morning Thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral;  followed by a special luncheon on the lawn of the Buckingham Palace. The Queen  will be honoured by a RAF fly-past as she and the royal family watch from the palace balcony.

Today, in London's Leicester sq was the UK screening of: Red Tails, George Lucas' twenty-three year vision of  making a film about the Tuskegee airmen. The film is about the first squadron of African American pilots trained in the US military.who served in World War II in Italy. Lucas selected a brilliant cast of actors to portray the unsung heroes who fought in Berlin against the Germans in 1944. Cuba Gooding Jr as: Major Emanuel Stance | Terrence Howard as: Col. A.J. Bullard | Nate Parker as the whiskey drinking: Marty "Easy" Julian and Neyo, who played a satisfactory role as: Andrew "Smokey" Salem just to name a few.
