Grandmaster Flash is definitely a legend in Hip Hop. Most youngsters comin up don't even know his name but you must learn (like KRS-One). DJ's today emulate what Grandmaster Flash created. There is no DJ like Flash! There are other greats like Red Alert, Kid Capri, Mister Cee and a few others but none like Grandmaster Flash. Just my opinion.
I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Grandmaster Flash in Long Island a few years back. There was this fun zone type place for kids called "Sports Plus" and I met him there. I had taken my kids there to run around and have fun and I saw Grandmaster Flash there! Just chillin like he didn't know who he was! I walked right up to him, smiled and told him he was a GREAT!! The man was extremely humble and thanked me. It was a nice run in. He's a good dude. So now, take some lessons from the legend himself below:
