MIAMI - We have two storms brewing in the Pacific Ocean. Tropical Storm Enrique became the fifth named storm of the Eastern North Pacific hurricane season.
Enrique is centered about 715 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula and was moving west-northwest near 14 mph. He has weakened overnight. Another storm formed in the Pacific and is now a Hurricane.
Hurricane Felicia is getting stronger farther out in to the Pacific and is expected to absorb the weakened Tropical Storm Enrique.
The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Felicia's maximum sustained winds today have increased to near 105 mph. Felicia is centered about 1,365 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula and is moving west-northwest near 12 mph. She is expected to become a major hurricane later today.
