Kevin Hart Makes a public apology for being arrested for DUI charges

Police said Hart, 32, was pulled over on California's Highway 101 freeway around 4:30 a.m. early Sunday morning after his black Mercedes which was going about 90 m.p.h., was seen driving erratically and nearly hit a tanker truck, the Associated Press reported.

Later after being pulled over he failed a sobriety test. He was then jailed on a misdemeanor DUI charge and held on a $5000 bond.

Hart later tweeted his apology and concern: "Drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter" ...  "People have lost lives because of stupid s--t. This is a wake-up call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn't. Everything happens for a reason."

We hoped he learned his lesson and hope this is a lesson to all to think before you drink...and if you do please have a designated driver along.
