Kemper County Sheriff James Moore says an AMBER ALERT has been issued for 6-year old black female Jashayla Hopson, who was apparently kidnapped from East Kemper Elementary School Tuesday. She was abducted from her school around noon on yesterday 04/30/13. She has black hair with a ponytail on the right side and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink shirt with an ice cream cone design on the front, turquoise pants, and white open toed sandals with pink toe nails. She also has a scar on her right cheek.
Jashayla was last seen with an unknown woman, described as a black female, wearing a black and white dress, with tattoos of stars on one foot, and a butterfly tattoo on the opposite leg. The woman had hair braids pulled back in a pony tail and wrapped with a brown head scarf. Possibly in a four door mid sized sedan.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol issues an Amber Alert Anyone with information on the suspect or the whereabouts of Jashayla Hopson call the Kemper County Sheriff's Department at (601) 743-2255 or (601) 743-2266.
