Jay-z’s “Magna Carta Holy
Grail” innovated the method in which albums are marketed and release. It all
started with an unprecedented Samsung deal where Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S III,
Galaxy Note II users had early access to the album before the July 9th release
date. This portion of Jay-Z’s lyrical portfolio dissects his current business
endeavors, fatherhood, and reflections of humble beginnings over tracks by
high-end producers. Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell all made revolutionary
contributions that chiseled a landscape, which served as the perfect arena for Jay-Z
to add the finishing details. Features consist of Beyoncé, Rick Ross, Frank
Ocean, Justin Timberlake, Nas, and Pharrell. Despite all of Jay-Z’s business endeavors
he continues to maintain his relevance in the music world by providing yet
another highly recommended classic.
