Horvil "Trix'' Lebrick, of Brooklyn, was arraigned in a Connecticut courtroom Wednesday in connection with a shootout in East Hartford that killed three people.
Police say on May 6, Lebrick allegedly went to an apartment located at 115 Nutmeg Lane in Woodcliff Estates with twin brothers, Andrew and Andraw Moses also of Brooklyn, to collect a debt when things turned deadly and shooting began that left the Moses brothers, 21, dead of gunshot wounds to the head.
A woman, later identified as Shawnalee Hudson, 26, of East Hartford was also killed during that shootout. Lebrick, police say, fled after his friends were shot. An unidentified man who arrived at the apartment — apparently to help Hudson — was wounded by gunfire. He has since been released from the hospital.
Lebrick, 31, was arrested in New York in May and after fighting his extradition, he was eventually returned to Connecticut to stand trial. He appeared before a judge Wednesday in Manchester Superior Court charged with felony murder, home invasion, first-degree assault and first-degree robbery. He remains in jail in lieu of $3 million bail. His next court date is scheduled for August 3.
